Posted: 15 Dec 2011 02:10 AM PST

Worst Bollywood movies of 2011

Posted: 14 Dec 2011 08:00 PM PST

2011 will go down as an eventful year as far as Bollywood was concerned.

We've seen all sorts of records being broken.

These include Salman Khan releasing two movies that shattered all-time opening week box-office numbers.

"Ra.One" establishing itself as the most expensive Bollywood movie ever made, and Shahrukh Khan conducting the world's most elaborate Pavlovian Experiment, where you now want to slap him every time you see an ad for one of the gazillion products he endorsed this year in an effort to promote this movie.

And of course, amidst all this awesomeness, was a bunch of movies that never deserved to see the light of day.

Hermès Singapore store tagged by Kongo

Posted: 14 Dec 2011 02:00 PM PST

Graffiti in Singapore is normally a no-no.

This is the country that put American Michael Fay and Swiss national Oliver Frick away for their spray painting antics.

But Cyril Phan -- better known by his street tag, Kongo -- has managed to steer clear of the Singapore police despite tagging a giant piece of graffiti on Hermès' new Scotts Square store hoarding.

The difference is Hermès actually sanctioned the French urban artist's work.

They liked his work so much that they've commissioned him to decorate the Singapore store windows with his trademark tags; the only Hermès store in the world to feature them.

Tokyo's Tsukiji fish market in action

Posted: 14 Dec 2011 01:55 PM PST

Tsukiji market, on the often-neglected Tokyo waterfront, is the largest wholesale fish market in the world.

It's also one of the busiest, and most visited, food markets anywhere.

The main section of the market is open to visitors from 9 a.m., leaving the earlier, hectic trading period solely to the professionals the market caters to -- apart, that is, from a handful of public observer spots that are usually snapped up before the sun rises.
