The surf is up and the sun is out -- CNNGo is coasting through Los Angeles this summer with star locals.
Director and producer of the "Iron Man" movie series, Jon Favreau takes us to a few of the locations that have inspired his movies, including the Kogi Truck on which his latest movie, "Chef," is partially based.
Lubov Azria, one of LA's most notable fashion icons, shows us how to shop like an Angeleno.
Jeweler to the stars, Ben Baller takes us around Koreatown to get a BBQ fix.
Designer Garrett Leight shares his discovery of "the world's best taquitos."
Here are some of the L.A. places we visit this month:
Malibu Pier Farm Cafe
You can snack on quinoa oatmeal while looking over Malibu's stunning coastline.Originally a food blog offering cooking classes, Malibu Pier Farm Cafe became so popular that it grew into a restaurant.
Sitting at the end of the Malibu Pier, the restaurant serves organic food and shuns "fake food" like veggie butter and sugar substitutes.
The owner also has a farm in Malibu that raises free range chickens "who have names" and a pig named Arnold as a house pet.
Reservations are recommended.

Eightytwo
It's a game arcade for grownups, a bar for young-at-hearts.
Eightytwo's main draw is a rotating collection of 40 restored arcade and pinball machines from the 1970s through 1990s.
It also features nightly DJs, a large patio and a bar including 10 draft beers and a craft cocktail menu.
There are rules -- give way after your game if someone is in line and no drinks on the machines.
EightyTwo, 707 E. Fourth Place, Downtown, Los Angeles; +1 213 626 8200
AERO Theatre
Why settle for DVDs when you can re-visit classics on big screen? At the movies this month are "E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial," "The Magnificient Seven" and "Great Expectations."
No, you didn't just travel back in time -- you're merely looking at the calendar of AERO Theatre.
The theater, renovated and run by the American Cinematheque, has been a landmark in Santa Monica since the 1940s. It continues to showcase classic movies on a big screen.

Annenberg Space for Photography
This space dedicated to showcasing both print and digital photography has a range of rotating exhibitions.
The venue hosts the free Iris Night lecture series every Thursday evening -- it's a public lecture featuring photographers, experts and artists.
The interior design of the space takes inspiration from a camera -- even the ceiling design recalls the aperture of a lens.
Iris Night lectures require advance online registration; space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Brig Parking Lot
Jon Favreau takes us to the Kogi truck that inspired his latest movie. It's not about the Brig, the bar, but the parking lot in front of it.
The lot on the corner of Abbott Kinney Boulevard and Venice Boulevard is ground zero for L.A.'s vibrant food truck culture.
On the first Friday of every month, the unassuming parking lot is packed with food trucks selling everything from Korean barbecue to grilled cheese sandwiches.
The Brig, the bar itself, has a retro feel with DJs playing '80s music.
